Woodbury Common

Hi there,

I will be staying in Manhattan during January 08, and have been told to head to Woodbury Common for really good shopping. Can someone tell me an affordable way to get there, including bus, car hire.

Are there better places to shop for bargains?

Woodbury Common

I haven%26#39;t been to Woodbury Commons yet but I did find a bus service that offers a return journey price of $39 at:

I have been to Jersey Gardens a few times and I love it there! You can find some great bargains but it really depends on what you are looking for! Jersey Gardens has a website with a store directory at:

www.jerseygardens.com and I%26#39;m sure Woodbury commons has the same so that might help you decide which mall better suits your needs!

Woodbury Common

I would google woobury commons premium outlets. You can take the bus or the metro north train directions on their website. If you put woodbury commons in the search box there are plenty of threads on it. There is also a sticky on this topic. It say%26#39;s look here before you post. My vote is woodbury.

Happy Shopping!

www.premiumoutlets.com/outlets/outlet.asp鈥?/a> You can find a list of stores and a map.

The bus from Port Authority works well. If traffic not bad, 1 hour and it drops off INSIDE woodbury Common.

The bus ticket window is on floor 2 of the North building at Port Authority and the bus gate is on floor 3.

Someone quoted the $39 return fare. That includes a discount booklet.

IMHO, the booklet is not worth the paper its written on...........Sometime you have to buy a LOT to get the discount.

My suggestion is (if you can do this, living outside the USA): Join the Woodbury Common Club (VIP SHOPPING CLUB), and you SHOULD be able to print a coupon to get a FREE discount booklet (which you can get at the information desk inside the food court.

Having said all this, if your time is Limited in NYC, I would not waste a day going to Woodbury Common.............

Thanks for the tips people....sounds like the bus it way to go.

I%26#39;ve been to Wrentham in MA and it was great....Im expecting Woodbury Common to be similar...

NYC here we come!

Definitely join the vip shoppers club on their site-we got some extra discounts when we went. We also took the bus from Port Authority-it was great and dropped us right beside the stores. If you%26#39;re after designer clothes it%26#39;s worth it, otherwise I would just stay in the city. I%26#39;m not sure if I%26#39;d go to it on my next trip but I probably will visit again some time.

Woodbury Common is more designer than Wrentham, but much bigger.

I%26#39;d go by bus. It%26#39;s far more relaxing than having to navigate your own way there
