Ive just booked 4 nights at this new hotel which is just south of evergreen cemetry near broadway junction on the subway (A-c). Does anyone know how long it takes on the subway into manhattan as I%26#39;m concerned that I may be quite far out of the city!! thanks!

Personally, I%26#39;m not too thrilled with that area if I was advising a newbie tourist. Too commercial, not at all touristy, too far from Manhattan for convenient sightseeing, and not the classiest area in general.
When you post on the NYC forum, specify your budget, dates, preferences, etc. The more specific the better.
