Medieval Festival at Cloisters/Fort Tyron Park

I wish I had posted this some time ago ..... but maybe some people are still looking for things to do today. I went to this event last year and it was really great. They%26#39;ve got a medival parade, minstrals, craft booths, puppetry, various demostrations, food, a jousting competition , a hawking demostration, folk tales, poetry readings, music and ..... my favorite ..... a belly dancer. Everyone is in costume and it was really a lot of fun. The parade kicks off by the entrance to the park near the Ft. Tyron subway station at 11:30 and the event continues till 6:00. You can also go see the Cloisters at the same time (but there are no events in the Cloister in connection with the festival) and also enjoy an afternoon on the cliffs besdie overlooking the Hudson River. Look for me (and Mrs. Lotuspath) in an orange Texas Longhorn baseball cap if you%26#39;d like to come say hello ..... we can %26#39;trip the afternoon fantastic%26#39; together in ye%26#39; merry olde England. Here%26#39;s the info for today%26#39;s events;
