8 weeks to go, thanks for the recommendations!!

Only 8 weeks to go.... thank you everyone for the brilliant recommendations! Finally, I%26#39;ve got the air tickets and accommodation booked, only have to book for the football, basketball, a few shows and maybe a Woodbury Common visit. And some restaurants....

I%26#39;ve booked Greenwich Village home for the first 10 nights of our stay. Carla was already booked for the last 5 nights, so I contacted a few other places (well actually about 10) and they were all booked up too. Finally, I was able to make a booking at A Garden in Chelsea for the final 5 nights.

DH was hoping to go see the David Letterman show, but based on what I%26#39;ve read, I%26#39;m not sure that%26#39;s going to happen.

I%26#39;m starting to get excited :)

Gosh, I had forgotten about a Garden in Chelsea. That%26#39;s terrific. I hope you%26#39;ll get us details after your stay. I also think it will be fun to stay in 2 different neighborhoods. ;)

I don%26#39;t know why you feel you won%26#39;t get into Letterman. Have you read all the tips on the forum? If not, do a text search. Will you have a cell phone while here with a local number?
