I will be in town in dec and would like to catch the show on sat 12-22, do you guys think I should wait it out a little longer and get discounted tickets through broadway box or should I book it now? I know this show has been one of the longest show running and heard ppl said that tickets will be available. TIA

I tried broadwaybox but it%26#39;s only for dates up until november. I can%26#39;t pic any dates in december. Do you think it will work if I call the box office myself and give them the promo code?

Probably won%26#39;t work, but it can%26#39;t hurt to try. If you want to see the show on Saturday evening, pay full price and buy your tickets now. The current discount offers don%26#39;t include Saturday evenings, and I doubt that they%26#39;ll get more generous as the holiday season approaches.

If you want to go to the matinee, then the situation is more complicated. If you would like to get a prime seat location and are willing to pay full price for it, then buy now. There are some great seats available (when I looked, telecharge.com had seats in the first row on the aisle and in center orchestra, 11th row -- which would be my preference).

If you aren%26#39;t so picky about location, you could always check Telecharge occasionally to see what seat locations are available and buy if/when availability reaches the point where you don%26#39;t want to take a chance on being farther from the stage. Of course, watch broadwaybox for new discount offers, particularly once the current offer expires (on 11/3). If I were in your position, I wouldn%26#39;t wait beyond 11/10 or so --- certainly no later than 11/17.

Sorry to be inconclusive, but it really depends on your financial situation and your risk tolerance.

I *highly* doubt there will be discounts for Phantom of the Opera for 12/22.

The discounts will not start up again until January 2008.
