I was wondering what the cheapest time of year to see NYC is? I went a couple years ago in May and it was cheap and nice to visit ...any suggestions on time?
Cheapest Time?May is now a pricey time. Well, NYC has become much more expensive in general, but July/August can be good, especially holiday weekends in summer-- a fact that always comes as a surprise to people. Jan-March/April is also more affordable. If you want to come before the end of the calendar year, the week before and leading up to Thanksgiving offers some occasional bargains and Dec. 17-29th can be ok.
