Free Museums this Saturday September 29 with pass.

This Saturday, September 29, 2007, several museums in New York City will be free if you print out a pass on the below website. The pass is valid for one (1) museum.

Click on the link and then search for New York. You%26#39;ll have to look for New York City museums, as all of New York State is listed.

Here%26#39;s the link... http://content.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/

Anything that says New York New York is what many foreigners would consider %26#39;the city%26#39; or Manhattan. :%26gt;)

While not considered the %26#39;A%26#39; list, free is free. I%26#39;ll be headed to The Frick Museum. 鈥mithsonianmag.com/museumday/detail.php鈥?/a>

It%26#39;s across the street from Central park, on 5th Avenue.

You must submit the admission card online smithsonianmag.com/museumday/鈥ard.php

After that, just print it out.

FYI, other cities available.

I just printed out a second pass to the Museum of the City of New York. This has always been a favorite of mine.

I%26#39;m guessing that you can print as many of these passes as you%26#39;d like. I%26#39;m also guessing that each museum will collect your pass.

Since the link mentions the Smith, I assume that they%26#39;re somehow involved.

Very specific about the date %26lt; Saturday%26gt;.

September 29, or shall I say 29 September. :%26gt;)

Wow, The Frick is on the list! That%26#39;s excellent.

I also noticed these popular and notable venues are participating:

Sony Wonder Lab, the NY Fire Museum, Police Museum, Noguchi Museum, Skyscrpaer Museum, NY Botanical Gardens and Studio Museum in Harlem.

Thank you for posting this!

i see ,just go to content.smithsonianmag.com/museumday..i%26#39;ll try it before my Nov.trip(tho%26#39;i certainly don%26#39;t mind paying my way,i%26#39;ll be packing in a lot of museum-going this trip,as husband will be in daily conf.) thanks for info.

Yeah, thanks for posting this. I printed off both the Frick and NYC Museum.

I noticed the CMOM (Childrens Museum of Manhattan) on the list. If you have kids...it%26#39;s a nice diversion.

212 West 83 street (on the west side), near Central Park and the AMNH (American Museum of Natural History).

Broadway train to the 79th street station. It%26#39;s the local west side train.

Plenty of good neighborhood shopping on Broadway mid 70%26#39;s - low 90%26#39;s.
