They are a less than 5 minute walk from each other.

Fifth ave. is the ';line of demarcation between east and west. The Library happens to be on the east side, 1 block east of Fifth ave. (and the library) while the Bryant Park happens to be a half block west of Fifth ave. just behind the library. Both are very nice boutique hotels and both are in lovely old buildings that have been rehabbed. The BP happens to face Bryant Park (!) which is quite nice in good weather. At Xmas time, there%26#39;s a Xmas market there and there%26#39;s also an ice rink for skating. I happen to prefer the look of the rooms at the Library, while I thing the location of the BP is a little nicer.
