Yankees Post Season Schedule

Hi,

Could someone please help me, i see that tickets for the Yankees post season games go on sale today, and as i%26#39;m from Australia, i%26#39;m wanting to know how to do you know which game to try and buy a ticket for as there is two possible schedules. And i don%26#39;t know which one to try for.

I get the New York Wed 3rd Oct and fly out Fri 12th Oct. But with no game dates set in concrete (a couple are, but they may end up being away games) i%26#39;m finding it hard to work out which one to try and get tickets for.

Hope that makes sense. I%26#39;ve just got no idea how it all works and would love to go to a game.

Except for the first game, the rest of the schedule is now set - Oct 5, 7 (these will be played for sure, although unsure where) and OCt 8 and 10 (if required). The first game is still TBD.

But you won%26#39;t be buying by date, but by ';home game number.'; (Home Game #1, Home Game #2). And how many home games they play will depend on whether they have home field advantage or not.

If you want a guaranteed game, I%26#39;d try to get tickets for Home Game #1 since that is the only game they are guaranteed to play. That game will either be on the 3rd or the 4th. However, if your arrival on the 3rd is not early in the day that could be risky and not the best option.

My personal belief is there WILL be a Home Game #2, and that would probably be the option I would go with if I only had one game I could attend.

BTW: At this point, I still haven%26#39;t given up on the Yankees being the AL East champs. (It could happen! If we can blow a 3 game lead in the playoffs, the Red Sox can blow a 2 game lead with 3 games left in the season!)

Oh - one more thing:

This all assumes you can even get a general public ticket. I expect they will sell out very quickly so a lot of luck is going to be necessary to get a ticket anywhere in the Park.

The Home Game #1 won%26#39;t be any good for us as we get in late on the 3rd.

I%26#39;ll see if i%26#39;m still up when they go on say, luck might be on my side, but i understand how hard they%26#39;ll be to get.

I just reread my first post and realized I should have said that Home Game #1 would be on the 3rd or 4th if they have home field. If not, it will be on the 7th. So plan accordingly.

Thanks, i think i%26#39;ll just wait and see, even though it%26#39;ll sell out i don%26#39;t know what i%26#39;d do with tickets if i had them and i wasn%26#39;t going to be there.
