I have sent an e-mail to the above company but no reply yet. We travel oct 3rd. I thought it would be nice for Elaine and I to go on an evening cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Elaines Birthday. I wanted to know if there was a dress code,and if anyone has been on it? Regards. Stephen

Many of these cos. are not set up to reply to personal emails. What did you ask/request?

It also clearly states the dress code on the website, no jeans or sneakers. It%26#39;s a lovely experience. Not the best food in NYC, but the combo of the views, the live music, dancing and nice service make it a lovely thing to do while in NYC.

IHave done Bateaux . It is a lovely visit to the harbour. Food is good. Service excellent. Dress code is spiffy. Not to mean dramatic. Men in nice sports coats, collared shirts, maybe at tie. Women in skirt, dress pants, nice tops. Skip the sweatshirts and sports shoes.

Just a note to say that I tried to book directly online, but they dont accept non US credit cards that way, you have to telephone your booking. I emailed them and got a response within 2 days. Hope you have a great trip.

I will be staying at eastgate towers in the murrayhill area. Is that close to the cruise departure point?

No. The Eastgate is on the east side on 39th st. and the departure point for Bateaux NY is on the west side on 23 st. Go to hopstop.com for directions and transport options. A taxi would be easiest, especially since it%26#39;s a special occasion and you%26#39;ll probably be dressed up, but you could take a bus (2nd ave. downtown to 23 st. and then transfer to the crosstown bus heading west on 23 st. and it will end right near the pier.)
