Booking a show

Hi,my b/f and I are heading to New York tomorrow and were planning to see a show during our 5 night stay. Any recommendations and do you think we should book show online before we leave or wait till we get there. Susan,Glasgow,Scotland

Booking a show

it depends if you want to see a specific show and would be disappointed if it wasn%26#39;t available. check out theatremania.com or playbill.com to get discounts on shows, or print out the offers (I think you can only do this on some websites) and bring to the boxoffice.

For a summary of the options, check this B%26#39;way page in the FAQ sticky at the top of this forum:

If you want to see JErsey Boys, Wicked, Mary Poppins or other super-popular shows, try your luck on-line.

Otherwise, see what was listed at the booths last week here, and play the odds:

Ooops, I just noticed Mary Poppins was offered last week at TKTS. Hmmm....

Since you%26#39;re leaving tomorrow, I%26#39;d just print off discounts from broadwaybox.com for anything you think you%26#39;d like to see. Then you have the option of going to the TKTS booth or going directly to the theater with a discount.
