Have the leaves started to change?

Here in Nova Scotia, the leaves are well into changing...there are yellows, oranges and reds all around.

Just wondering what NYC is like these days, and if the leaves have started to change. I%26#39;m hoping to see CP in all its glory in 2 weeks....:)

Hi BAL.

Sorry i dont have an answer to your question but i just wondered when in october you are going as we are arriving on the 12th oct to the 16th oct and I noticed you said you would be there in two weeks time.

I am looking forward to seeing the different colours in Central park , the trees here in Glasgow ;Scotland are changing rapidly.

Hi Deb,

We are arriving at noon on the 12th and departing at 6pm on the 15th...we are there 4 days and 3 nights. I can%26#39;t wait!

A very few trees have begun to go slightly yellow.

It was 87 degrees yesterday. I%26#39;ve seen exactly one leaf on the ground and not much change in the color of the trees.

Hi,

Hope you have a fab time when you are there and you never know I might be the one standing beside you at totr or esb, times square or any other of new yorks brilliant sights.

Im staying right beside central park so hopefully the colours will have changed by then.

Fall foliage peaks in NY someth between late October to early November.

Monday I was on I-80 in Pennsylvania through the Poconos. Up there the change had started, with color in about 1/4 of trees. By the time I got back to NYC, though, I was back in the world of solid green.

Central Park peak foliage change is usually the end of October although changes begin by the middle. These dates change from year to year depending on temperature and amount of rain throughout the summer.
