cheap travel from Newark Airport to Sunnyside Street, Queens

We (just 2 of us) are flying into Newark Airport and are looking for cheapest way of getting from the Airport to Sunnyside Street, Queens. Although we are looking cheap, I really don%26#39;t want to be getting off and on at different stops, so really cheapest, handiest way of getting there would be best. Also, our flight out of Newark again is at 11am. What is the best way to get from Queens to Newark Airport and also what would be the best time to leave to head for the airport?

There is no Sunnyside Street, so I think you mean simply Sunnyside. You need to get the actual address, but I would take Broadway%26#39;s advice of taking a bus to Manhattan.

Get a bus to Port Authority, then take the Queens-bound 7 train to the stop nearest where you need to be.

Just repeating what%26#39;s already been said that Sunnyside is an area of Queens rather than an actual street (as far as I know). When you give a location here, it%26#39;s always important to give 2 points (intersection of 2 streets).

Newark is west of Manhattan. Queens is east of Manhattan so anywhere in Queens pretty much requires going through Manhattan. There are various ways to get from Newark Airport into Manhattan. The cheapest that doesn%26#39;t require any changes is the bus mentioned above that costs ~ $14/person and stops at Port Authority bus terminal but also goes to Grand Central Station which is a bit closer to Queens. If you get off at Grand Central station you can also take the #7 train from there that services Sunnyside but you could also get a NYC yellow taxi from there and get service to wherever you%26#39;re going since you%26#39;ll have luggage. I don%26#39;t know what a taxi would cost, but I%26#39;d guess $25 or so. The subway is $2/person but you have to be able to manage your bags up and down stairs. There may also be a bus you can take. If you have the exact address in Sunnyside, you can get directions on hopstop.com

I hope you%26#39;re staying with people you know in Sunnyside.

There is a Sunnyside Street out in Far Rockaway. (if that%26#39;s where you are headed, there is no cheap/easy/quick way to get there.)

Yes, sorry, it is Sunnyside we are staying in and we are staying with friends - have to get full address. Thanks for all your help with the travel. Is there a connecting bus between Newark Airport and LaGuardia Airport?

This co. does connections b/w Newark and JFK, but it doesn%26#39;t indicate they stop at LGA.

You could email them to see if they would do it since you generally pass near LGA on the way to JFK.
