Thank you for responding to my question. My dates are Oct. 18 -21.
It appears that those dates are quite expensive, and you may need to expand your preference of loaction to include other areas of Manhattan. Was there any particular reason why you had to be in either of the two areas you listed?
There is a new hotel, 6 Columbus Circle, which is showing up on quikbook.com for your dates at : avg $302 for a full bed or $360 for Queen. I have read elsewhere, however, that the rooms are said to be small. I haven%26#39;t seen any reviews as yet. I think it opened Yesterday.

You could expand your areas and try one of the Affinia properties which get good reviews here.

Other option is to book something cancellable, and bid on Priceline.
I would go to betterbidding.com or biddingfortravel.com and ask for some bidding help if that interests you. May sure you read all about re-bids zones first.
