We are travelling in the morning ';3rd oct'; and I would kike to know about tipping for different situations. For example. I will be paying for my stay when I arrive at hotel so should I tip the staff behind the counter. I intend to tip the fella who takes bags to room , and finally. When Iam in Europe I normally tip the people who clean the room at the end of my holiday. Is it the same in NY. I know these questions are probably stupid because I always tip when it is deserved, but I believe it is particularly a big deal in NY. Thanks Stephen

I think the problem with tipping the cleaning staff at the end of your stay is it may be a different person or people each night.
Just put tipping in the search box at the top of the forum and you%26#39;ll get tons of information.
