I see Jennifer Garner and Kevin Kline are in this. The preview begins 10/12/07. Does that mean it is opening night? Would there be tickets available for that?
Thanks also to all of you who responded to my question about Wicked tickets. I did get them on broadwaybox.com but I hate to tell you how much I had to pay for them........
Cyrano de Bergerac Preview
previews is the time period where the show%26#39; s cast and directors fine tune the show and get ready for the critics to come review it. They see what works and what doesn%26#39;t in front of an audience. Opening night is a couple of weeks usually after previews. Nothing%26#39;s really different about previews, cept that things may be tweaked, changed, etc behind the scenes up until opening night. It%26#39;s a regular broadway caliber performance that you would see any other time...just that the show hasn%26#39;t officially ';opened'; yet.
Cyrano de Bergerac Preview
Tickets for opening night performances are not usually made available to the general public until the day prior. And the seats are usually in the balcony. The casts%26#39; friends and family and VIPs get the prime seats at opening night.
As to your Wicked tickets, think of it as your doing your part to help line the pockets of the scalpers.
It%26#39;s usually not hard to get tickets to previews. I see tix available for 10/12, although I don%26#39;t see any discounts.
Opening night for Cyrano is Nov. 1. There aren%26#39;t any tickets available...at least not yet :(

I got tickets for Nov. 2 the day they went on presale. It%26#39;s my mom%26#39;s birthday present...she%26#39;s a gigantic Kevin Kline fan.
The only play I%26#39;ve seen in previews was Spamalot in London. It was absolutely brilliant!
