Anything Happening Oct. 12-14???

I%26#39;m going to be visiting NYC for the weekend Oct. 12-14 and was wondering if anyone knew of any gallery openings, fashion events etc. I have a blog site %26#39;smartsnobs.com%26#39; and want to write about how cool this city is. I write about anything from restaurants to make-up and everything in between. I was there last weekend but for more of a shopping trip as opposed to info gathering. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I%26#39;m coming in for PhotoExpo at the Javits Center - basically for the trad, however they do admit advanced amateurs and others who are interested and can come up with the $20.00 fee for a daily pass.

Otherwise as for openings/events and such - perhaps perusing a copy of The New Yorker may give you some insight - they tend to publicize this type of activity. The NY%26#39;er is also online.
