Newark to JFK airport transportation

We arrive at Newark Airport Thur, Nov 29 at 6:40 PM from Naples. The next morning (Friday) we fly out of JFK at 8:00AM (must be at airport by 6:00am, 6:30am at the latest). Airporter does not have shuttle that late in the evening (or early in the morning) to take us from Newark to JFK.

But Carmel Service can take us for $74 at either time.

Question:

1) Should we stay at a nearby Newark hotel upon arrival and take an early ride the next morning to JFK? What time should we request a pick up to get us to JFK?

OR

2) Take Carmel Service to hotel near JFK airport the night we arrive and (then just get hotel-airport shuttle early the next morning?

Newark to JFK airport transportation

Since you have to be at JFK at 6am, it makes more sense to stay there or closer to there than Newark. One option is to stay in Manhattan (which is inbetween the 2 airports) and go to JFK at 5 am. That way you%26#39;d have access to a decent meal in the city and probably a nicer (but pricier) hotel. You could take public transport to Manhattan from Newark and the same in the morning to JFK or a cab. Otherwise, stay at JFK. The Courtyard JFK is not bad but you%26#39;ll have to eat at the hotel.

Newark to JFK airport transportation

I would spend the night in Manhattan unless your budget doesnt allow for it. If you were arriving at midnight, I%26#39;d say stay by an airport, but you could have a whole night in the city instead of some icky airport hotel with horrible restaurant.

but, if you must stay by an airport, I%26#39;d agree with the JFK idea, so you dont have to travel and extra hour in the morning.
