Local supermarkets?

Hi all,

Just wondering where the nearest shop to the Radio City Apts is so that I can buy a carton of milk? Being from Ireland - we are addicted to hot tea so we%26#39;ll need some milk to keep us going! That%26#39;s all we%26#39;ll need really because we%26#39;re bringing the %26#39;%26#39;Barry%26#39;s%26#39;%26#39; tea bags with us and are eating out every night so any info on small local shops would be great!

Also - this may sound like a very silly question but - Starbucks and other coffee shops will sell hot tea....right?

There%26#39;s a deli just next door to RCA for your essentials like milk, etc. The nearest supermarket is two blocks west, on the corner of 49th St. and 8th Ave., Food Emporium.

Since you like tea, stroll up to Columbus Circle (Broadway %26amp; 59th St.). The Whole Foods Market occupies the entire lower level of the AOL Time Warner Building. They have an amazing selection of teas. There are samples in little dishes along the counter, so you can smell-test. My favorite is the jasmine pearl tea.

I think you%26#39;ll like the rest of the market too. Wonderful selection of hot and cold food bars and tons of prepared stuff. You can pack stuff to go, or dine in the market.

Yes, Starbucks and other coffee shops will sell tea. We also have tea specialty places all over.

Take your t-bags with you, ive been to the states many many times and have never had a good cup of tea yet. Buy bottle water for making your tea at your apt. Cheers!
