LGA to Brooklyn Heights, for 5 people

I%26#39;m not sure which would be cheaper, a taxi or a private car service from LGA to Brooklyn Heights for 5 adults. 5 would have to fit in a van or a larger car, costing us more money i%26#39;m assuming. Anyone know wihich option would be cheaper? This is a weekday arrival. Thanks.

5 with luggage won%26#39;t fit into a minivan taxi (I don%26#39;t think) so you%26#39;d need 2 taxis. I%26#39;d get a quote from carmellimo.com and dial7.com and see. I%26#39;d guess a taxi from LGA to Brooklyn Heights would be ~ $40-45 (x 2).

Thanks, I was fearing we would need more than 1 taxi, thus doubling the cost. We%26#39;re all just bringing one carry-on luggage and bag but yes I realize traveling with 5 isn%26#39;t the easiest. Thanks! I%26#39;ll try those companies out.

Where in Brooklyn Heights are you going?

joralemon and henry, 6:30 am

so far carmellino is cheaper, if i rent 2 sedans at $38 each, so $76 total

I don%26#39;t know why you could not get a larger vehicle to take you all at once.

I am assuming you are staying at a friend%26#39;s house, as there are no hotels in that area. If you don%26#39;t know it already, ';Joralemon'; is accented the same way as ';geranium';.

I guess I will get better info if i call. The website for Carmel says ';over car capacity'; when i put 5 persons/luggage. The next thing it offers is a STRETCH LIMO (8 Pass) $148.0!

I%26#39;ll see how much a SUV or larger vehicle would be. Vs 2 sedans

Thanks, I just realized people might say %26#39;lemon%26#39; instead of the correct pronouciation! :)
