Need a very nice hotel in a good location,safer neighborhood, near Northern Blvd. Going to Peter Luger%26#39;s Steakhouse for a party.

I%26#39;d report this on the NYC forum, as well. We have many folks who lived or know Long Island.

You can stay in Manhattan, too, and take the LIRR to the party.

Check out the Inn at Great Neck or The Andrew. (see reviews here) Both are right by the LIRR Train Station, the ';downtown'; shopping area (called the Village of Great Neck Plaza) and only a few minute ride to Peter Luger. There is no where to stay within walking distance to PL but if you do not want to drive to the party, you can call for a car service for about $6 each way.
