Do people visit Ellis Island in late november ? As we could have snow by then so I%26#39;m wondering if you spend most of your time there indoors or out.

Ellis in Nov
Yes, I%26#39;ve looked at the website. I was wondering more about people%26#39;s experience in the colder months.
most of what you want to see is indoors... Think of those people arriving in threadbare clothes after traveling weeks in steerage in February!
And being from Boston, you know it could be warm in November (and certainly not as hard to acclimate if you were visiting from Florida)
Good point about those who came in steerage! I just didn%26#39;t know if maybe everyone quit going by Oct . and we%26#39;d be the only fools out there lol.
Thanks
I guess your father never dragged you to Jets games all winter!!!
We went in February back in 2006 it was really cold - but I wouldn%26#39;t have missed it of my itinerary. As someone else said most is inside so you don%26#39;t have to spend too much time in the cold!
We went to Ellis Island last year, during the Sat after Thanksgiving. Surprisingly, that day was very beautiful(deep blue skies and sunny). It wasn%26#39;t too cold either.
But it was very crowded. We waited in line for about an hour plus to get on the ferry to get to Ellis Island. You can spend all day viewing all the exhibits inside, watching the film(s), etc.
Thank you all- I guess we%26#39;ll try for the first ferry then!
