reasonably priced restaurants near museum of natural history

Any suggestions for reasonably-priced restaurants near the Museum of Natural History ? Especially any that are open on Sundays?? Choice of cuisine is optional....

First, you should tell us your definition of ';reasonably-priced';. Too subjective.

Then, if you put ';dining natural history'; in the search box, you%26#39;ll find lots of previous suggestions like this one:

tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g60763-i5-k1186871鈥?/a> -Dining_in_Upper_West_Side_Manhattan-

Yes, they are all open Sundays. For hours, locations and to see menus, search them on

If you have questions about those listed, let us know.

Thanks! I%26#39;ll take a look at what you said, and then be back with questions probably!

travelmom,

I just returned from 8 nights in Manhattan. I spent way too much time and energy researching restaurants before the trip.

All you have to do is explore the 2 or 3 block area around where you are (in this case, the museum). There are tons of restaurants everywhere with their menus and prices right in the windows. Half of them aren%26#39;t even listed anywhere.

I looked for places loaded up with locals. I also asked anyone standing around where to go. That is 10X easier and more effective than doing it from home. Besides, if you%26#39;re in a neighborhood, something may strike your fancy for a spur of the moment meal which you hadn%26#39;t planned on. These are often the best.

So quit worrying, and enjoy. It%26#39;s fun to explore restaurants. No-one has EVER left NY hungry, guaranteed!

Richie has given you great advice. There are a gazillion restaraunts in the immediate vicinity of the Museum. To the East of the museum is Central Park and you won%26#39;t find many (maybe none) in that immediate area, but if you go west (away from the park) you%26#39;ll see them.

BTW, the museum has a good cafeteria--not cheap, but good

Thanks to everyone! Actually, my daughter (age 15) with whom I%26#39;m travelling doesn%26#39;t like too much planning....I think we will just look around.
