Grip and Grin meet up!

I%26#39;m in the City for the weekend 10/19-10/21 and have a few hours free on Friday the 19th after 6:00 PM.

Thinking of having a cocktail and munchies - anyone fancy a quick meet up?

RE: grip and grin this was a term we used when I was shooting (photographing) news for the ubiquitous check/award photo.

In this instance it would mean handshaking and photos.

Perhaps you could suggest a midtown venue - I%26#39;m staying in the 32nd St area btwn B%26#39;way and 5th Avenue - however have MetroCard will travel.

I%26#39;m thinking about a %26#39;pub-type atmosphere%26#39; I%26#39;ve frequented the Molly Wee Pub at 402 8th Avenue at the corner of 30th Street - it%26#39;s a neat place - good food and selection of libations.

Plus it%26#39;s not too far from my hotel.

You could also enter your hotel location in Yelp.com and then click on ';find nearby restaurants.';

We are off by a week! I%26#39;m going into the city on Sat. Oct. 13 with girlfriends. Ladies day out. Lunch, Matinee, Shopping, Dinner/Drinks and grab a train home. If It were the following weekend...for sure I would love to meet up with you! Maybe some other time.
