We are staying at the Wellington Hotel, and plan to go to Central Park to watch the fireworks on New Year%26#39;s Eve. Can anyone advise where is the best place to go in the park or does it not matter. We plan to take a little pinic and champayne to warm the cockles on the cold evening.

Any place along the Lake is good. We%26#39;ll be over at Bethesda Terrace. It%26#39;d be tough to bring a picnic -- it%26#39;ll be a little too cold to sit. I%26#39;d suggest dining elsewhere and just going to the park for the fireworks.
