Accomplice NY with UK mobile phone number

I want to book the ';Accomplice: New York'; tour for my visit from the UK, but on the booking form it says you need a US or Canadian cell phone number, as they phone you the day before with secret directions.

How did people get around this? Did you just enter your usual number with the UK dialing code in front? I emailed them on Sunday but have had no reply so far and there%26#39;s only 2 tickets left for when I want to book!

I would give them your hotel number - they should take a message for you.

I%26#39;ve done this with the BAG program a few times.

On the FAQ%26#39;s on their site it says

';But I鈥檓 from Mars, and we don鈥檛 get cell service in New York City. Can I leave my hotel number?

You can leave a hotel number if you鈥檙e from Mars. We鈥檒l hit you up there.

You can think about getting a sim card for your phone, prepaid isn%26#39;t too expensive.
